At the 2008 Heritage Festival Seattle Awards ceremony on April 20th, Newbury Park won the following awards and honors:

1)       1st Place Gold Chamber Choir
2)       1st Place Gold Concert Choir
3)       Spirit of Seattle
4)       Boys Tenor and Basses Excellence
5)       Adjudicator's Choice
6)       Best Representatives of their Community
7)       Invitation to participate in any Gold Festival in the nation.
